Dr. Ved Prakash is currently working as a Research Scientist in the University of Texas, USA.
He has done his doctorate in Ph.D. Chemistry in DNA based advanced bio imaging techniques for quantitative biology at the University of Chicago, USA.
He has done Five Year Integrated M.Sc. Chemistry in NISER, Bhubaneswar, India.
He qualified for every PhD position that he was interviewed for including IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, NCBS Bangalore, and TIFR Mumbai. Before that he qualified the NEST exam with all India rank 8 and also qualified the GATE exam with a rank in two digits. During his time as the first graduating class of NISER, he served in many leadership positions such as Gymkhana president and the cultural secretary.
Dr. Ved Prakash is a Co-Founder of NutriDocs (e-health platform) and also a Co-Founder and CEO GeniUs (e-learning platform) where he has organized 200+ online and offline sessions for students and working professionals in USA, Europe and India and provided them insight into various non-academic career options and delivered public lectures.
Dr. Ved Prakash is a knowledgeable innovator, collaborator and go-getter with expertise in nanotechnology, physical chemistry, cell biology and microscopy as evidenced by development of 2 new methodologies, 4 high impact factor publications and $250,000+ in grants, while moving lab from India to USA.
He has a Strong skills in strategic planning, execution, entrepreneurship, team work, sales, customer handling and field experience resulting in relocation of entire research lab in 6 months as well as establishment of online business team of 50+ partners in 4 countries with growing monthly revenue of $3000+ and $100,000+ in funding.
