Dr. Prashant Pradhan, PhD

The webinar will have presence of Dr. Prashant Pradhan, PhD as a guest speaker. Dr Prashant Pradhan is an Assistant Professor in Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Delhi, India. He has completed his PhD in neuro-biology from IIT Delhi and MSc Biotechnology from South Asian University, New Delhi. He is currently contributing to the medical sciences with the help of Surface Plasmon Resonance. He has also recently contributed toward the research on corona virus (see article) when the COVID19 pandemic was about to hit the world.
Dr. Prashant Pradhan has developed a RT-PCR based Most Affordable COVID-19 Diagnostic Kit Corosure (https://home.iitd.ac.in/news-diagnostic-kit.php) launched by HRD Ministry of India. His research on prion protein for the treatment of fatal transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSEs) (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31931179/) is also notable.
